Our printing technology

Förster Etiketten enables you to take advantage of all the benefits of modern labeling. With technical and functional labels and stickers, we support you in complying with your labeling requirements, reducing costs, and implementing important documentation and certification requirements in a process-optimized and economically viable manner.

As a system supplier and a growing second-generation family business, we have been offering in-depth expertise, industry-driven prices, high quality, streamlined organizational and logistics processes, and excellent service since 1978.

The company is approved for UL labels in the US and Canada and has extensive expertise in this field. It also meets the strict requirements for label approvals for medical device labeling and ATEX product labeling. These certifications underscore the high quality, safety, and reliability of the products that Etikettendruck Förster offers its customers.

screen printing

The screen printing process is the best choice for meeting the high demands for durability and weather resistance. The screen printing ink is intense and highly opaque. The thick ink application makes screen-printed labels resistant to UV radiation, weathering, and abrasion.

Our screen-printed labels are produced using roll-to-roll printing, allowing us to produce even large quantities efficiently and with the highest quality.

Digital printing

UV inkjet digital printing offers the highest print quality and color-stable results, even for short runs. Flexible design, on-demand production (no storage costs), and personalization through variable data are key advantages. ERP integration also enables efficient processes.

Disadvantages: High machine and maintenance costs, repairs only by manufacturer specialists. Costs for pre-press and post-processing (e.g., painting, punching, inspection) remain.

Ideal for flexible, high-quality projects – but with a cost-effectiveness consideration.

Flexographic printing

Flexographic printing is a relief printing process in which ink is transferred directly onto the material via rollers using mirror-inverted, raised printing plates. The flexible printing plate, made of rubber or photopolymer, enables printing on a wide variety of surfaces—from paper and foils to packaging materials.

Thanks to its high speed and the use of fast-drying inks, flexographic printing is particularly suitable for large-scale production, such as in the packaging industry, for labels or bags. Its strengths lie in its material versatility and cost-effectiveness for mass production.

Book printing

Book printing, revolutionized by Johannes Gutenberg in the 15th century, is the classic relief printing process. It uses mirror-image printing plates (clichés), with the printing parts raised and the non-printing parts recessed. Ink is applied to the raised areas and pressed directly onto the paper.
